Pumpkin Spiced Latte - Homemade 🎃 🍂🍁 Dou Pumpkin Spiced Latte - Homemade 🎃 🍂🍁

Double shot coffee
1 tbsp Pumpkin Puree 
1 tsp of coconut sugar (add more or less for taste)
1 ½ tsp of Pumpkin Spice Mix (if you’d like my homemade recipe let me know)
Milk of choice - i really like almond or full cream for this.

If you have a coffee machine I like to add the pumpkin puree and spices to my milk jug and froth it all together - but before I had my machine I'd heat it on the stove until the desired temperature and mixed it through. 

And of course, i like to add some cinnamon on top and serve it in my favourite halloween mug (The Nightmare before Christmas)

🌼 Low-Tox Hair Care: Salons and At-Home Tips
-Choose Clean Salons: Look for salons that offer organic, low-tox hair treatments. Many salons now offer services using ammonia-free dyes, natural hair products, and treatments free from harmful chemicals.
- Ask Questions: Don’t hesitate to ask your stylist about the products they use. If you’re concerned about certain ingredients, they might be able to suggest alternatives or even allow you to bring your own low-tox products.
- At-Home Care: Between salon visits, maintain your hair with low-tox shampoos, conditioners, and treatments. Brands that focus on natural ingredients can keep your hair healthy without the added chemicals.
🌼 Low-Tox Nail Care: Manicures and Pedicures
- Find a Low-Tox Nail Salon: Many nail salons now offer non-toxic polishes and treatments. Look for salons that use brands free from the “toxic trio” (formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP) and other harmful chemicals.
- DIY at Home: You can also create a spa-like experience at home using low-tox nail care products. There are plenty of natural, non-toxic nail polishes and treatments available for at-home manicures and pedicures.

I got sick at the start of week 3 and still felt shitty in week 4 - with recovering from whatever I had and a teething baby cutting molars it's been rough 2 weeks - have been consistent with my meal plan just slack with the physical side.

But getting back into it this week. While I ease back into the physical training, I'm excited to smash out the last 2 weeks of this challenge.

I really thought I was going to struggle to stay consistent before starting this challenge. 

These are the thing that helped me;
✿ Meal prep - A majority of everything was ready for each day
✿ Splitting my weekly meal plan - I like to spilt my weekly meal plan with 2 options (Monday-Thursday) & (Friday-Sunday). I prep on a Sunday and Thursday.
✿ Listening to my body - I made sure to push my body enough for a challenge but not to overdo it.

I love to start my mornings with coffee, breakfast, and my current read. Which is currently Songbird of the Sorrows by @braideeottobooks

Breakfast 🥞 Pancake Bowl with Blueberries 
Lunch 🥪 Pesto Chicken Sandwhich 
Snacks 🍓 strawberries and chocolate, banana oat muffin
Dinner 🍲 Katsu Chicken Bowl 

I like to change things up for my week and spit it into 2 different meal options. I meal prep on Sunday for Monday-Thursday and prep on Thursdays for Friday-Sunday.

Hello everyone! I'm Tay, and I'm passionate about living my best holistic and healthy lifestyle that encompasses fitness, low tox practices, and overall well-being.

My journey began with a realization: I wanted to prioritize my health and my family’s health in a way that not only transformed my body but also nourished my mind and spirit. I am embarking on a fitness journey, starting with small steps like daily walks and gradually incorporating strength training into my routine. For me it’s not just about physical changes; it was about feeling strong, energized, and balanced.

Alongside my pregnancy journey, I became increasingly aware of the impact of toxins on our health and the environment. I specifically became aware when looking for products for my baby and I started to make a conscious effort to transition to low tox living, choosing natural skincare products, organic foods, and eco-friendly (non-green washing brands) alternatives for everyday essentials. This shift not only improved my well-being but also aligned with my values of sustainability and mindfulness.

Today, holistic living is at the core of my lifestyle. It's about nourishing my body with wholesome foods, staying active with activities I love, and creating a home environment that supports both physical and emotional health. I'm constantly learning and exploring new ways to enhance my well-being, whether through meditation, exploring new recipes, or sharing insights with a community passionate about holistic health.
